Dr. Kara Rodriguez
Dr. Kara was born and raised in Elgin, Illinois a western suburb of Chicago. She graduated from South Elgin High School in 2013 where she played softball, basketball and was a cheerleader, as well as doing competitive cheer and travel softball outside of school. She was never a fan of the cold and rainy weather that Chicago has to offer, so when she earned a spot on UNT’s cheer squad, she got down here as fast as she could. She attended the University of North Texas where she graduated Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and was on the cheer squad all four years. She continued on to Parker University to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic where she graduated Cum Laude and with a clinic recognition award in December of 2020.
While in Chiropractic school, she ventured down several avenues of chiropractic care before landing in the family/pediatric side of chiropractic.
After seeing the amazing dynamic of family/pediatric based practices, she observed some life changing moments created by chiropractic care and knew that was where she needed to be.
She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is also Webster certified to take care of pregnant moms. She attended 20+ seminars outside of normal school requirements to learn from many techniques and to master the adjustment. She has been working her whole life for the moment where she can help those in need and cannot wait to get to serve you!

Soon to be momma’s
Drs. Collin and Kara are Webster certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). The Webster Technique is a specific set of adjustments to help balance the pelvis, release any tightness within musculature and ligaments that surround the uterus. When stress is taken off our nervous system it allows our bodies to adapt to all the changes that are occurring during this special time and giving baby an optimal birth environment to wiggle and grow. Reducing these imbalances decreases the amount of intrauterine stress and often leads to a safer and more comfortable pregnancy and labor for not only mom, but baby as well to help avoid unnecessary interventions. We would love to be a part of your birth team!
What our moms notice during preconception + beyond:
- Decreased round ligament pain

- Decreased pubic bone pain

CLA INSiGHT SCANS
At Social House Chiropractic, we use state-of-the-art technology to look deeper into your nervous system. CLA Insight Scanning technology is a three-part scan designed to build a more complete approach to care for you and your family. It is essential to us to not only observe dysfunction but place it + quantify it within your system so that we can better guide you to elevated health. The scans provide us with a visual representation of where stress + dysfunction is affecting your nervous system and its ability to function properly.
These scans include a NEURO Thermal, sEMG/NEURO Core, and HRV/ NEURO Pulse scans. Initial scans as well as progress scans are vital for tracking growth within the neruro-spinal system and demonstrates how beneficial consistent chiropractic care can be for unwinding an unhealthy, exhausted, stressed-out system while forming new and healthy neurological connections. These scans are non-invasive and safe for everyone (even pregnant mommas + babies).

Do you take Insurance?
We are a cash-based practice here at Social House and do not work directly with any insurance companies. By not billing insurance we are able to provide you and your family quality care that is tailored specifically to YOU and your wellness goals. This also allows us to create unique and affordable care plans for all of our practice members. Our care plans are often times less than what you would pay with insurance, but we are happy to provide you with the proper documentation if you choose to get reimbursed from your insurance company.
Is Chiropractic safe for infants?
First and foremost, YES. We love seeing babies here at Social House. Adjustments for infants look entirely different than what care for an adult spine would look like. They are specific and gentle. Infants need such little force to help their nervous systems develop and grow properly, so the pressure applied to an infant is no different than the pressure applied when checking the ripeness of an avocado. We encourage babies to get checked by a chiropractor to help ensure their nervous systems are functioning as they should to help them grow into healthy and happy kiddos
How often do I have to come?
At Social House Chiropractic we want you to get the care you deserve, which is why after looking over your health history and CLA Insight Scans, Drs. Collin and Kara will create a care plan that is suited best for YOU. Frequency and duration of care looks different for everyone based on the findings, health challenges, and goals you present with. We strive to create a community that focuses on wellness and staying proactive in their health, instead of having to react when health challenges arise.
